Who we are
Reef (reefclouds.com) is a device-management service built and run by Dolphin Digital. It is used by Dolphin Digital and the organizations it works with to manage their Android media players.
What we keep
- About people who use the console: name, email address, how they sign in, their access, and a log of what they change.
- About devices: identity (serial number, model), status and health readings, approximate location from the network address, installed apps and settings.
We use this only to run the service for the organization that owns the devices. We don't sell it or use it for advertising.
The email we send
Reef sends only email that a person needs to use the service. It never sends marketing or newsletters, and it emails only people who are console users of an organization.
- Invitations, when an organization's administrator invites someone. The link is valid for 7 days.
- Password resets and sign-in codes, when someone asks for them, or when an administrator sends a reset for a colleague.
- Alerts, only for alert rules a user set up and chose to receive by email. Several alerts are combined into one message, and email can be turned off for any rule at any time in the console.
Account email comes from no-reply@reefclouds.com and alerts from alert@reefclouds.com. Every message is signed for reefclouds.com. If an address bounces or a recipient reports a message as spam, we stop sending to it.
